In deze studie is onderzocht wat het effect is van korte mindfulness oefeningen op de pijn van pati\u00ebnten die in de wachtkamer van een kliniek zitten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voor de studie werden drie gerandomiseerde gecontroleerde onderzoeken (RCT&#8217;s) uitgevoerd. Studie 1 onderzocht een acht minuten durende mindfulness-audio-opname v\u00f3\u00f3r een bezoek aan een zorgverlener. Studie 2 onderzocht een vijf minuten durende mindfulness-audio-opname n\u00e1 een bezoek aan een zorgverlener. Studie 3 onderzocht een vier minuten durende mindfulness-audio-opname v\u00f3\u00f3r een bezoek aan de zorgverlener.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elke studie maakte gebruik van controlegroepen. Studie 1 en 2 werden uitgevoerd in een academisch oncologieziekenhuis, terwijl studie 3 plaatsvond in een orthopedische polikliniek. De pijnintensiteit werd in alle drie de studies gemeten, terwijl angst- en depressiesymptomen alleen in studie 2 en 3 werden ge\u00ebvalueerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Vier tot acht minuten mindfulness oefeningen<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Uit de studies bleek dat een korte mindfulness oefeningen van vier tot acht minuten de pijnintensiteit van pati\u00ebnten in de wachtkamer van de kliniek verminderde, ongeacht of dit voor of na het bezoek aan het ziekenhuis plaatsvond. Bovendien had mindfulness een significant effect op angstsymptomen in studie 2 en 3. Er werd echter geen effect op depressiesymptomen waargenomen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De resultaten van deze drie pilot-RCT&#8217;s suggereren dat korte mindfulness oefeningen sommige klinische symptomen kunnen verminderen.
