Dat is ontdekt door een\u00a0team van\u00a0Britse wetenschappers. Rode bloedlichaampjes vervoeren zuurstof van de longen naar de weefsels; een tekort leidt snel tot vermoeidheid en een lage weerstand.<\/p>\n<p>Normaal worden ijzersupplementen voorgeschreven bij bloedarmoede, soms aangevuld met injecties of smelttabletten B12 (een B12 tekort wordt ook vaak gemist)\u00a0maar vitamine B2 blijkt minstens zo belangrijk. In Groot-Brittanni\u00eb heeft meer dan 90 % van adolescente meisjes een tekort aan vitamine B2!
